Executive Assistant To President

The primary responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will be in support of the KIG executives: 

  • Provide administrative support to the President and Marketing Director
  • Make travel plans and reservations
  • Record mileage and other expenses
  • Schedule business/personal appointments
  • Act as a gatekeeper for email, phone and calendar – help the executives to manage business/personal priorities and protect their time

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain office schedule/calendar for people, projects and other important events and dates
  • Maintain kitchen and office appearance 
  • Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and vendors, via phone, email, and in-person 
  • Welcome visitors to our office and make sure they are comfortable 
  • Prepare for in-house client/staff meetings 
  • Maintain and order office supplies 
  • Sort and prepare incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Answer phones, transfer calls and take the occasional message 
  • Maintain data, documentation of processes and various types of computer work 
  • Use office equipment including copier/scanner/fax 
  • Maintain organization of filing system 
  • Coordinate with outside vendors including maintenance, cleaning, and IT 
  • Review, document, and update office procedures

  • Confident – is completely comfortable talking to clients and working with all levels of individuals including CEO’s, business owners, and executives 
  • Passion - we want you to love what you do, and we don't want to have to check you for a pulse 


  • Office and/or administrative experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (whether on the phone, in person or via email) 
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, the Internet, and email 
  • Ability to learn client relationship management (CRM) software 
  • Must be a motivated, self-starting team player that gets along well with others 
  • Can take direction well and work independently for periods of time 
  • Must be a problem solver, multi-tasker, and a positive thinker 
  • Careful attention to detail
